There's something pretty special about live music. The energy of a room, the connection between a performer and their audience, and those little moments that happen once and are gone.

This collection brings together photographs from a couple of local gigs, including Jordan Cassells at Kank Wolverang Records and Do Something Ballarat's Palestine fundraiser at Trades Hall.

Having spent years involved in Ballarat's arts and live music scene, I love getting the chance to document the people who bring it to life.

Whether it's an intimate performance or a room full of people coming together for a cause, I try to capture a little of what it actually felt like to be there.
