Some photographs are planned. Others happen because I've taken a wrong turn, noticed something interesting, or decided to bring a camera along just in case.
This is the photography I do for myself. The people, places, everyday moments and little details that make me stop and take a second look. Sometimes there's a story I'm trying to tell. Other times, I just reckon something looks pretty cool.
I've organised these photographs into three collections: People, Place and Planet. They're not strict categories, but three overlapping ways of looking at the world around me. There's plenty of crossover between the three, which I think is part of the fun.
Mostly, though, this is just a collection of things that have caught my eye along the way.
PEOPLE
This collection is about connection. Faces, gestures, and gatherings are where I see and hear some of the most honest stories. This can often be found in the joy of live music, the closeness of a portrait, or the resilience of a crowd - I aim to capture people in ways that feel real and resonant.
PLACE
Place grounds us. From laneways and city streets to regional landscapes and historic venues, I’m drawn to how environments hold memory and meaning. This collection is about documenting the character of spaces - the details that reveal where we’ve been, who we are, and what we share.
PLANET
Our planet is the backdrop for every story, but it’s also a subject in itself. This is my way of paying homage to our world: the light, the weather, the textures, and the fragile beauty of environments under pressure. It’s about remembering that our work, our play, and our lives all unfold within a bigger system worth protecting.
